Abstract

• Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) Jambi Province August 2018 is 98.05 or up 0.59 percent compared to the month's NTP previous. Increase in NTP due to the Price Index Farmers Received (It) rose by 0.35 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) goes down by 0.24 percent. • In August 2018, the NTP of Jambi Province for each sub-sector was recorded at 97.48 for the sub-sector Food Crops (NTPP); 90.64 for subsectors Horticulture (NTPH); 99.05 for the Crop sub-sector People's Plantation (NTPR); 101.79 for the subsector Livestock (NTPT) and 103.94 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 112.02 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 95.24. • Rural deflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.38 percent. Deflation occurs in two consumption groups households, namely the Foodstuff and Foodstuffs group Education, Recreation and Sports group. While Inflation occurred in five household consumption groups namely the group of processed foods, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group; clothing group; group Health and Transportation and Communication groups. • Provincial Agriculture Household Business Value (NTUP) Jambi August 2018 was 106.58 or up 0.06 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
