Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) of Jambi Province in October 2018 amounted to 99.74 or up 0.04 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP is due to the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) which rose by 0.16 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.12 percent.
In October 2018, Jambi Province's NTP for each subsector was recorded at 99.45 for the Food Crop sub-sector (NTPP); 92.00 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 101.61 for the Community Plantation Crop Sub-sector (NTPR); 100.59 for the Livestock subsector (NTPT) and 105.05 for the Fisheries subsector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 112.88 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 96.62.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.06 percent. Inflation occurs in six household consumption groups, namely the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco groups; Housing group; clothing group; Health group; the Education, Recreation and Sports group and the Transportation and Communication group. Deflation occurred in one household consumption group, the Foodstuffs group.
The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) in Jambi Province in October 2018 was 107.40 or down 0.21 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
