Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in June 2019 was 97.51 or down 1.68 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP was due to the Farmers Received Price Index (It) which fell by 1.01 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.68 percent.
In June 2019, Jambi Province's NTP for each subsector was recorded at 98.23 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 91.36 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 97.51 for the Community Plantation Crop Sub-sector (NTPR); 101.19 for the Livestock subsector (NTPT) and 106.30 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 115.00 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 96.93.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.84 percent. Inflation occurs in six household consumption groups, namely the Foodstuffs group; group of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group; clothing group; the Health group and the Transportation and Communication group. Deflation occurs in one household consumption group, namely the Education, Recreation and Sports group.
The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) in Jambi Province in June 2019 was 106.22, down 1.11 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
