Abstract

  • In July 2019 the city of Jambi experienced inflation of 0.48 percent and Kota Muara Bungo inflation of 0.15 percent. The Jambi City Consumer Price Index (CPI) is 137.30 and the Muara Bungo City Consumer Price Index (CPI) is 137.75.
  • Inflation in Jambi City occurred in 5 (five) groups of goods and services due to an increase in the index, and inflation in the City of Muara Bungo occurred in 5 (five) groups of goods and services due to an increase in the index.
  • The inflation rate for calendar year 1 in Jambi City this month was 2.03 percent, and the year-on-year inflation rate 2 was 3.61 percent. While the inflation rate for the Muara Bungo City calendar this month is 3.70 percent and the year on year inflation rate is 4.99 percent.
  • Of the 23 cities in Sumatra that counted the CPI, 21 cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation in Sumatra occurred in Sibolga City at 1.88 percent and the lowest in Padangsidimpuan City by 0.06 percent. Of 82 cities that calculated CPI in Indonesia, 55 (fifty-five) cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation in Sibolga City was 1.88 percent and the lowest was in Makassar City by 0.01 percent.
