Growth of Farmers Terms of Trade in Jambi Province July 2018

• Farmers' Terms of Trade (NTP) of Jambi Province in July 2018 amounted to 97.48 or down 1.71 percent compared to the previous month. The decline in NTP was due to the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) down by 0.97 percent while the Farmer Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.75 percent.

• In July 2018, the NTP of Jambi Province for each sub-sector was recorded at 96.80 for the Food Crops sub-sector; 89.99 for Horticulture subsector; 98.66 for the Plantation sub-sector; 100.81 for Livestock sub-sector, and 103.45 for fishery sub sector consisting of capture fisheries of 111.95 and Aquaculture of 94.30.

• Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.91 percent. inflation occurred in six household consumption groups, namely the Foodstuffs group; group of Food, Cigarettes and Tobacco; Housing group; Health group; Education, Recreation and Sports group; and the Transportation and Communication group. While deflation occurs in one group of household consumption that is Clothes group.

• Jambi Province Agriculture Household Business Term of Trade (NTUP) in July 2018 was 106.51 or down 1.16 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
