Abstract

In June 2019, Jambi City experienced inflation of 1.02 percent and Kota Muara Bungo inflation of 1.03 percent. The Jambi City Consumer Price Index (CPI) is 136.65 and the Muara Bungo City Consumer Price Index (CPI) is 137.54.
Inflation in Jambi City occurred in 6 (six) groups of goods and services due to an increase in the index, and inflation in the City of Muara Bungo occurred in 6 (six) groups of goods and services due to an increase in the index.
The inflation rate for the calendar year 1 of Jambi City this month was 1.55 percent, and the year-on-year 2 inflation rate was 2.34 percent. While the inflation rate for the Muara Bungo City calendar this month was 3.55 percent and the inflation rate for "year on year" was 4.96 percent
Of the 23 cities in Sumatra that calculated CPI, 22 cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation in Sumatra occurred in Sibolga City at 2.25 percent and the lowest occurred in Batam City by 0.24 percent. Of 82 cities that calculated CPI in Indonesia, as many as 76 (seventy six) cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation in Manado City was 3.60 percent and the lowest was in Singaraja City by 0.02 percent.
