Abstract
• Jambi Province's Farmer Term of
Trade Rate (NTP) in September 2018 was 99.70 or up 1.68 percent compared to the
previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Accepted Price
Index (It) rising by 1.11 percent while the Farmer's Paid Price Index (Ib) fell
by 0.56 percent.
• In September 2018, the NTP of
Jambi Province for each subsector was recorded at 98.86 for the Food Crops
(NTPP) subsector; 90.43 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 102.06 for the
People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 101.18 for the subsector of Animal
Husbandry (NTPT) and 104.92 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) which consists
of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 112.77 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 99.54.
• Rural deflation in Jambi
Province was recorded at 0.72 percent. Deflation occurred in three household
consumption groups, namely Foodstuffs, Clothing and Education, Recreation and
Sports groups. While inflation occurred in four household consumption groups,
namely the group of processed foods, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group;
Health group and the Transportation and Communication group.
• Jambi Province's Agricultural
Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in September 2018 was 107.62, up 0.97
percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
