Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in October 2019 was 97.85 or decreased by 0.52 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (It) which fell by 0.82 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) fell by 0.30 percent.
In October 2019, the Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was 98.03 for the Food Crop subsector (NTPP); 92.87 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 97.34 for the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 102.91 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.64 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 115.58 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 94.93.
Rural deflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.39 percent. Deflation occurred in one group of household consumption, namely the Foodstuffs group. Inflation occurred in six household consumption groups namely the Food, Beverage, Cigarettes and Tobacco groups; Housing group; Clothing group; Health group; the Education, Recreation and Sports group and the Transportation and Communication group.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of Jambi Province in October 2019 was 106.28, down 0.90 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
