Abstract

Jambi Province's Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in quarter III-2019 was 99.97, meaning that consumers' perceptions of the economy in quarter III-2019 were relatively good although slightly more pessimistic compared to the previous quarter.

This condition was mainly caused by a decrease in the index of the effect of inflation on public consumption by only 96.75; while the income and consumption volume of the community increased slightly with index values of 101.10 and 101.36.

Meanwhile consumer perceptions of the economy of Jambi Province in the coming quarter are expected to increase compared to quarter III-2019 with a ITK value of 108.04.
