Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in August 2019 was 96.18, down 1.53 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which fell by 1.16 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.38 percent.
In August 2019, the Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 96.12 for the Food Crop subsector (NTPP); 93.71 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 94.57 for the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 102.49 for the Animal Husbandry sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.17 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of 113.99 Fishing and Aquaculture (NTPi) by 95.66.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.45 percent. Inflation occurred in seven groups of household consumption, namely the Foodstuffs group; Processed Foods, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco groups; Housing group; Clothing group; Health group; the Education, Recreation and Sports group and the Transportation and Communication group.
The Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) of Jambi Province in August 2019 was 105.88 or decreased 1.22 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
