Abstract

Farmers' Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) Jambi Province December 2017 amounted to 102.64 or down 0.09 percent compared to the previous month NTP. The decrease of NTP due to the Accumulated Price Index of Farmers (It) rose by 0.56 percent while the Paid Price Index of Farmers (Ib) rose by 0.65 percent.

In December 2017, NTP of Jambi Province for each subsector was 96.15 for Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP), 94.10 for Horticulture subsector (NTPH), 108.62 for the Subsector of Plantation (NTPR), 99.32 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 102.32 for Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Fishing Fish (NTN) of 109.04 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 95.10.

Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.79 percent. Inflation occurred in five groups of household consumption ie Foodstuffs group, Housing group, Clothing group, Health group, and Transportation and Communication group. While deflation occurs in two groups of household consumption ie Food, Beverage, Cigarette and Tobacco groups and Education, Recreation and Sports groups.

Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of Jambi Province in December 2017 was 110.67 or up 0.44 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
